Dev Agrawal is a law graduate [BA.LL.B (Hons.)] from O.P. Jindal University, New Delhi and had proceeded to obtain a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in International Financial Law from King's College London, University Of London, United Kingdom (U.K.). He specialises in property-law litigation, developer claims and financial services matters viz., service tax, value added tax, goods and services tax, excise and customs law. He has advised clients in the manufacturing sector, service industries, multi-nationals and Indian companies on real estate servicing and tax re-structuring claims.
He has also appeared before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunals, Appellate Authorities and Adjudicating Authorities in India. He commenced his practise with the law office of Saraf & Partners (New Delhi), specialising in General Corporate, M&A and Regulatory practices matters. He later joined our law firm, where he is heading the NRI Legal Services practice, through our office located at 134 Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria, London. Dev has also made paper presentations on deconstructing foreign investment by bordering countries in India; the latest developments to the Free Trade Agreements (FTA) between India and various European Countries, to various chambers and industrial organisations in the U.K.
Dev is also a member of the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), which focusses on Financial modeling & Valuation Analyst services. Moreover, he has acquired various practitioner licenses through organisations like Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), whose membership involves various multi-nationals and private companies. He has also attended various forums like the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) during the past years.
